Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American model, singer and songwriter. Her most well-known role is her character 'Blair Waldorf from the television drama show 'Gossip Girls.' Leighton Meester began her professional career in the early years of her life as a girl. In her early years she was a part of an local stage production of the film 'Wizard of OZ, after which her passion in acting developed. Her first job was performing in commercials as well as modeling. As part of her modeling work, she's been associated with top brands like 'Herbal Essences and Vera Wang and 'Jimmy Choo and 'Ralph Lauren. Even though she started her modeling career as model, she eventually decided to pursue acting. The path to acting began when she had an appearance on the popular television show 'Law & Order'. She has since appeared in several feature films and TV series which include 'CountryStrong", 'Monte Carlo', and Killer Movie. In addition to her role as an actor, Meester worked with famous artists like 'Cobra Starship'' singer Robin Thicke, and recorded songs. Leighton Meester is credited with the Billboard Top Hits in her tracks.
