Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru and a mixed martial arts athlete fighting for the UFC in the Flyweight Division, is in Kyrgyzstani. She is also the elder sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion as well as fellow UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sport career with a Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko won the tournament and beat Suzane Miller in the finals via unanimous decision. Antonina won a medal of silver in 2007 followed by she also won a bronze medal in 2008, and a gold medal gold in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion in 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia began her professional journey in 2003. She was the winner of the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina's last fight was at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The fight was won by a unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko began her professional MMA profession in the year 2002 with a win over Anara Baanova at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She went 3-0, after winning the second-round TKO. The next two bouts came at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She made her comeback to fight Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by a unanimous vote as well as defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following her departure from the competition. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used her superior striking abilities and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body. Antonina took a UFC offer after her victory. Antonina was offered an UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko was victorious via unanimous decision but was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss and fought Lucie Prudilova in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a rear naked choke. It was the best fight of night for the fight. Shevchenko was 2-2 in her three subsequent matches, winning over Ariane Lipski and being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
